Download expiration limits and maximum attempts can be set on a file to file basis so if you have large files you will be able to allow a longer period of time for them to download it in, or allow more download attempts to compensate for any timeouts. Expirations are always calculated in seconds instead of days. This way you could have a link expire in 10 minutes or at 9:25 on christmas eve if your calculations are good!

Q: What file type's can I distribute?
A: Anything that does not require server side processing like a script. In other words a file that is opened by a program on the users computer such as file archives, pdf, mpg, exe being other prime examples.
